# Supersets, circuits and other blocks

> Group exercises into supersets, circuits, intervals, AMRAPs and EMOMs.

A block groups exercises that your client does together. Blocks are labeled A, B, C and so on, for example **Superset A**.

## Block formats

| Format | How it works |
| - | - |
| **Superset** | Two or more exercises back to back, set by set, then a rest. |
| **Circuit** | One round of every exercise, then the next round. |
| **Interval** | Each exercise runs for a work time, then a rest. Use it for HIIT and Tabata. |
| **AMRAP** | As many rounds as possible within a time cap. |
| **EMOM** | Start one exercise at the beginning of each interval, every minute or so. |

## Create a block

**1. Choose the first exercise**

Open the exercise's actions menu and click **Group…**.

**2. Pick a format**

Choose a **Format**.

**3. Add exercises**

Under **With these exercises**, choose the exercises to do with it. They move directly under it.

**4. Create it**

Click **Create**. For example, **Create Superset**.

## Block settings

Depending on the format, you can set:

* **Rounds**
* **Work** time
* **Rest between exercises** and **Rest after each round**
* **Time** cap, for AMRAP
* **Every**, the interval length, for EMOM

For an interval block, turn on **Use Tabata (8 × 20s / 10s)** to fill in the classic Tabata timing. The builder shows roughly how long each block takes.

## Change a block

Open the block's actions menu to:

* **Add exercises** to the end of the block.
* Change its **Format**.
* **Ungroup** it, so its exercises stand alone again.

To take one exercise out, use **Remove from** in that exercise's menu.
